HMJDS=Jewish Vibrancy

HMJDS is an exceptional school community in large part due to the generosity of our donors: parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, community leaders, and foundations. The largesse of our donors is tangible in every aspect of school life, from our building that we share with the community, to our staff that is our treasure, to our curriculum that is our pride. HMJDS is a place of lifelong learning for a generation of Jewish youth.

Now more than ever, our school’s mission is critical to our families.  We provide students with a:

Make a Difference

As is the case at most independent schools, tuition alone does not adequately fund our programs and facilities. A gift to our annual fund ensures that we are bringing our vision to our students today, providing the financial resources that enable us to sustain and continually refine our exceptional school program. In addition, HMJDS provides Flexible Tuition to a growing percentage of its families; while this helps ensure a day school education for a wide array of families, it also requires substantial resources. Thus, every single donation, however large or small, is responsible for the school’s visionary success.

100% Participation

A signature of a successful independent school is 100% participation in the annual fund.

  • Grantors are more inclined to support our school when there is 100 percent parent participation.
  • “All Jews are responsible for one another.” This is practiced as a core value in our community.
  • Parental participation in the annual fund creates a culture of philanthropy- a shared responsibility and a sense of ownership.

Please remember, every gift counts, no matter the size.  100% participation from our Board, parent body, and faculty sends a strong message to our entire community about our passion for our school.
