2016-2017 Tuition
HMJDS is committed to making our educational experience accessible to as many families in the community as possible. Tuition levels are set and approved by the Board of Directors to reflect this value of inclusivity balanced with the school’s operational needs.
HMJDS tuition and fees for the 2016-2017 school year are listed below. Please note that for the 2016-2017 school year, HMJDS is again offering a $3,600 grant to any new student in any grade.
Grade | 2016-2017 Tuition | Tuition with New Student Grant* | Supplies/Technology Fee** |
---|---|---|---|
*This one-time grant applies to all new students enrolling in the 2016-17 school year in any grade, including students who are returning after a hiatus of one year or more. This grant does not apply to fees.
**Other fees that are charged separately include sixth and eighth grade multi-day trips, food service, school-sponsored co-curriculars/clubs, and replacement of lost school-provided materials.
Tuition can be paid in full prior to the start of the school year, or monthly by automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account.
Financial Aid
We are committed to a socioeconomically diverse school community. More than one-third of HMJDS families receive some degree of financial assistance. Families are granted financial assistance based on demonstrated need and availability of HMJDS funds. Families receiving financial assistance are not obligated to repay these grants to HMJDS.
Financial assistance requests are held in strictest confidence by HMJDS personnel. If you are interested in receiving information regarding financial aid, you may request this information when filling out an application.
If you have further questions, please contact our Finance Department at 952.381.3510, or Admissions and Outreach Director Julie Ziessman at 952.381.3566. We are available to speak with you confidentially and provide you with tools to estimate your family’s expected tuition contribution.
